Our Story
The founder of our organization, like many others, had personal experience with the limitations of both public and private healthcare, neither of which provided a level of home health care and support that was satisfactory or sufficient.
The public health system, while somewhat accessible for palliative care, was disjointed and lacked continuity. Health providers (nurses, CareAides, etc.) would show up unannounced and without knowledge of the status of the CareRecipient or their needs. Private home care offered some continuity but was expensive and limited in its scope. The lack of continuity and options created the burden of having to navigate the healthcare system alone during an especially difficult time and resulted in a series of hospitalizations that could have been avoided had the option of higher quality health care at home been available.
Desiring to deliver better care with better outcomes at a lower cost, our founder decided to embark on a journey to create a solution. BrossCare was created to deliver better health care anywhere to individuals and their families to address the gaps in the healthcare system. We understand that those in need of care are in a challenging and vulnerable position. We endeavor to make it comforting, effective, and as stress-free as possible. Thus, in addition to providing continuity of care, we prioritize the independence and individual requirements of each CareRecipient; we believe that everyone deserves to feel cared for and be cared for, anywhere. We aspire to work with the best CareProviders available, using the most effective technology to ensure better CareRecipient and better CareProvider experiences.
