Co-creating accessible health and prevention programs

Mobile Integrated Health

BrossCare Health Society is a non-profit and registered charity based in Vancouver. We provide mobile integrated health (MIH) services to individuals in the Greater Vancouver area.

What We Do

We make compassionate, culturally sensitive care accessible.

Community Health

Educational Seminars:

  • Bi-weekly health seminars include a speaker, exercise, singing, and a community meal.

Clinics:

  • We partner with mobile Allied Health Providers such as dental hygienists, physiotherapists, a footcare nurse, etc.

One-on-one Nurse Supervised Care:

  • Wellness checks, post-hospital care, aging-in-place, etc.

Navigation:

  • Translation and cultural support to help individuals access health and social services.

Community Health Program

In November 2024, we launched a pilot in Burnaby to support seniors who were falling through the cracks of the healthcare system. Working directly with Korean-speaking seniors, we co-designed seminars, provided on-site nursing, and offered weekly in-home support. The results show just how impactful culturally sensitive, mobile integrated care can be.
